The much sought after statuette that caused all the trouble in John Hustonâ€™s film noir masterpiece The Maltese Falcon starring Humphrey Bogart sold millions making it one of the most expensive pieces of film history. In the classic film, men are prepared to kill for it. While that feat wasn't quite matched at the auction, the seller certainly made a killing of sorts.
