This fourth Saw film takes a different path to thus which preceeded it.

The film digs into the backstory of Jigsaw, although itÂ’s fair to say that it soon becomes a platform to layer on some more deadly traps. It flashes between the past and present day events and we find out what John does and why he does it.

Fans need not despair though, there's still the usual elaborate traps, torture devices and grisly tasks for a number of unfortunate victims.
