The 'Pop Idol' finalist received 71% of votes for the title of the biggest reality TV flops of all time, placing him at No 4.

After reaching the final 10 on the show, he had to pull out due to severe laryngitis.  He was signed up by EMI, but later dropped. Never one to give up, Rik then formed his own band but his concert tour was cancelled after it was reported that only two tickets had sold.
