The global firm has announced its plans to pilot a "basic shift manager" course, which will train aspiring staff on the ins and outs of hamburger bar management.

The outcome will be equal to that of a GCSE or A-level course after the food giant won the right to become an exam board. McDonald's is the first company to achieve this. Other companies will soon be following suit. GCSE Bitesize never seemed more useful!
