What: 443lb (32st) halibut

Where: Arctic Ocean, Norway

This monster of the deep took three men and half an hour to bring to the surface. The giant halibut measured 8ft 1in lengthways and 6ft 4in around the middle. However the biggest halibut ever caught by a commercial fisherman was a whopping 63st - that's a lot of chips to fry.
