Possibly the most famous of all weather reporters, Michael 'Huricane' Fish earned his nickname after he dismissed reports of extreme conditions hours before the worst storm in 300 years devastated the south east coast.
"Early on today," said Fish, "a woman rang the BBC to say she heard there was a hurricane on the way; well if you're watching, don't worry, there isn't."
He's since tried to pass it off that he was talking about Florida instead – but the fact he then goes on to talk about it being "very windy" but mostly over Spain does make his explanation somewhat suspect!
