Boffins created the world's first flying car designed to ease congestion for frustrated commuters. The wacky three-wheeled vehicle pledges to beat traffic jams by turning into an aircraft which can soar up to 4,000ft.
With a top-speed of 125mph on land, the PAL-V, goes from 0 to 60 in five seconds. Its inventors claim the single seater car will cost little more than a saloon. To fly the Pal-V you need a recreational pilot's licence, which takes between 10 and 20 hours' training to obtain, and a normal driver's licence. Though its an incredible invention, this car-plane is yet to take off!
