Grace Kelly wed Prince Rainier of Monaco back in 1956 and it turned out to be her last and greatest role.

She was still tied in to a seven-year contract with movie giant MGM, but agreed to have her wedding day filmed as a get out clause.

The gown was designed by wardrobe designer Helen Rose, with the Prince opting to design his own wedding 'uniform' for the big day.
