Former Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren pulled out of the reality show just 24 hours before the contest kicked off.

ITV producers said: "He flew 5,000 miles to take part but on the day they were due to go into the jungle he changed his mind."

But the music mogul unleashed a huge rant about the show saying the jungle was a "glorified film set".

He said: "There is nothing bad in there, they're hoodwinking the public. I think they fix it and they know exactly who is going to win the show. In my opinion, it's totally and utterly fixed. This is not a reality show, it's a fake one."
