Breast cancer is one of the major killers in females within the UK and for many years, researchers have tried to find preventative and even cures.
Cancer Research UK found earlier this year a method in which to scan more than 800 genes within the body and test for which would respond to a breast cancer drug.
Having discovered ones that were missing or faulty, it indiciates that drugs can be developed for individuals that would actually save money for the NHS.
Scientists have also discovered a gene which makes HER2, the most aggressive form of breast cancer and drugs are currently being developed to combat it.
