Olympic discipline: Runner

Born in Mogadishu, Farah arrived in the UK as a refugee from Somaia in 1992 and is now based in Twickenham. Representing his adopted country proudly, he is Paula Radcliffe's star pupil and has received financial backing from her Nike sponsorship
