BT has launched the Glide, a sleek, black landline handset as small as a mobile that also just happens to be the first to have Bluetooth connectivity. This means you can send texts, use a wireless headset and natter 300 metres away from the base station. So in theory you could pop down the corner shop and chat the whole way there and back.
