Scientists have apparently discovered a 'gluttony gene', which might be responsible for obesity cases, brought on by non-stop eating.
During tests, experts found that because of a mutation, the message that is usually sent to the brain telling it that the body is full, failed.
The Press Association quotes lead researcher Dr Baoki Xu, from Georgetown University Medical Centre as saying:
"This discovery may open up novel strategies to help the brain control body weight."
