Referring to his run-in with Taylor Swift and the fact the Britney beat him to number one, rapper Kanye showed us a rare glimpse of his funny side, posting to Brit:

"Yo Britney, I'm really happy for you and I'mma let you be #1, but me and Jay-Z's single is one of the best songs of all time! LOL."

Sadly, the Stronger singer didn't really see the funny side, Tweeting back via her management:

"Thanks for 'letting' us be #1. Much appreciated."
