The ultimate festival film has lost none of its punch despite being filmed in 1969, especially with the director's cut running in at nearly four hours. It captured the positive vibe of 60s culture perfectly.

'Woodstock' contains performances by Canned Heat, Joan Baez, Jefferson Airplane, The Who, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Joe Cocker, Santana and a legendary, showstopping gig by Jimi Hendrix which gave us his electric rendition of 'The Star-Spangled Banner'.
