More and more glass is creeping into modern home design, meaning more window cleaning. However, glass company Pilkington claim they have solved the problem by creating self-cleaning glass.

It sounds to good to be true, but the glass has a specially developed coating on the outside that once exposed to daylight chemically reacts, breaking down the organic dirt and then washes it away.
