Five time Grand Slam winner Martina Hingis retired from tennis and revealed that she had failed a drugs test after being knocked out of Wimbledon in June 2007.
Hingis, who was the youngest world No 1 in modern tennis, tested positive for cocaine although she challenged these results. The former Wimbledon champ claimed an independent test of her sample provided a negative result and that there were "inconsistencies" with the urine sample taken during Wimbledon.
