The former Blue Peter presenter narrowly missed out on a place in the semi-finals after losing out to ex-Liberty X singer Jessica Taylor.

Salmon spoke of her disappointment at having to go saying: "It is just a rollercoaster of emotions. Every now and again the nerves get the better of me. It could have been better. I have had a ball. It has just been amazing. Bring on the tour I can't bear the void in my life without the ice skating. Well done to Jess she was definitely the better skater".
