HeÂ’s used to getting up early but now BBC Radio 1Â’s longest serving breakfast DJ, Chris Moyles, needs to stay up really, really late as well. ThatÂ’s because heÂ’s planning to break the record for the stationÂ’s longest show in history to help raise cash for Comic Relief.
The challenge will see Chris attempt to beat the 37 hours that former BBC Radio 1 DJ, Simon Mayo, set in 1999 for Red Nose Day.
The popular voice of early morning radio will be joined by his studio sidekick, Comedy Dave, as they attempt to stay wide-eyed and bushy tailed for their marathon broadcast which will commence at 6.30am on Wednesday 16 March.
Red Nose Day is coming on Friday 18th March. All money donated will go towards helping people living incredibly tough lives both here in the UK and in Africa.
