Known as 'The Governator', the Republican was first elected to the post of Governor of California 2003 in a recall election. He was successfully re-elected in 2006 and managed to call Democratic State politicians "girlie men".

Widespread speculation has washed over the political world with rumours that the Constitution would be amended so he could run for President. However polls suggest that his popularity is waning.
