Ben Fogle became a father for the second time on 26 May, after his wife Marina gave birth to a baby girl, Iona.

The 37-year-old television presenter and adventurer announced the happy news via his Twitter profile, posting:

"Beautiful baby Iona Fogle was born today weighing 7lb 6oz. Daughter and mother are doing brilliantly. Father and son are eating ice cream."

Iona is the second child for the couple, who married in 2006. They have a son, Ludo, who was born on December 10, 2009.
