Stephen Fry recently had to cancel a trip to Japan after he made comments on his panel show QI which offended Japanese viewers.

Fry was due to visit the country to film a segment for his forthcoming series Planet Word, but the backlash created by the discussion about atom bomb survivor, Tsutomu Yamaguchi, has meant that the trip has been shelved.
