Emma Thompson and Greg Wise adopted a 17-year-old Rwandan orphan in 2006 after failing to conceive a second child by IVF. They adopted Tindyebwa Agaba after doing charity work in war-torn Africa. His parents were killed during the Rwanda civil war.
