The Hollywood actress gave birth to her twins - a boy called Knox Leon and girl called Vivienne Marcheline.

Jolie, had the twins by caesarean section at the Lenval hospital on the glamorous Promenade des Anglais waterfront drive in Nice.

Jolie's doctor Michel Sussmann, said: "The parents and the babies are in excellent health. Everything is fine."
