Oasis rocker Noel Gallagher has announced the birth of his second child, the latest baby boy to inherit the famous family name.

Noel welcomed baby Donovan Rory MacDonald Gallagher at London's Portland Hospital, his first son with long-term girlfriend Sara MacDonald. Weighing 7lb 5oz both baby Gallagher and new mum Sara are healthy and well.

The 40-year-old Britpop icon is already dad to seven-year-old daughter Anais from his former three-year marriage to ex-wife Meg Matthews, whom he divorced in 2001.
