Online banking service Smile has revealed Britain's most loathed popular comedians who are famed for thrusting grimaces instead of smiles upon the nation.

In at No 10 is successful veteran playwright Alan Bennett who hasn't been making us laugh since the 60s with his smarmy plays (and subsequent film adaptations) of 'The History Boys' and 'The Madness of King George', or maybe it's just his annoying voiceover narration for 'Winnie the Pooh'.
