Lucky Briton Ben Southall has landed himself "the world's best job", working 12 hours a week over six months for a cool 70,000. To top it off it's on the tropical Hamilton Island, Queensland and he's got a beach-front villa in the deal.

In at No 10, it's probably the only job that carries insurance policies against being stabbed while tied to wheel, mauled by a tiger or shot out of a cannon by a clown. But at least there's a safety net.
