2. Mark Ronson, musician/record producer
Charting higher than Amy Winehouse (he produced her critically acclaimed album 'Back to Black'), Ronson's old school production feel combined with his savvy awareness of contemporary culture has found him a niche in the market.
Winning three Grammys himself, Ronson is responsible for a resurgence of the retro jazz/soul vocal genre once popularised by Billie Holiday and Dusty Springfield, influencing Duffy, and, of course, Amy Winehouse.
