Anelka came to Arsenal in 1997 and scored his first Premiership goal in his first match, playing against Manchester United. He was only 17 at the time. Since then he's gone on to leave English football (twice), play for half the sides in the country and has scored some amazing goals while he was at it.

Until recently he was frowned upon for being too money motivated but recent performances for Chelsea and France are quickly silencing the critics, his importance on the European and National stage has been highlighted for all to see.
