The writing's on the cheque
The mysterious, and usually reclusive, graffiti artist Banksy has made a sale of one of his pieces - a wall on Portobello Road in West London.
The piece went for 208,100 on its eBay auction but there have been questions raised as to whether Banksy is selling out by exploiting his public medium, not to mention the difficulties concerning moving, exhibiting and insuring a public wall.
His art always sparks a huge debate as to whether they are examples of artistic genius or mindless vandalism. Here are some further examples of the deviant master's work.
