007's trademark Aston Martin sports car is back in British hands after US owners Ford sold up in a £480million deal.

The dream motor, which has become synonymous with the fictional agent, had been owned by the American giant for more than a decade. But Ford executives announced they were selling the business to a consortium headed by British businessman-cum-rally driver Dave Richards.
