Langston is the newest member of the team after coming into contact with them during a murder investigation. His father who was a soldier raised him in Korea. His father was a violent man and this character trait has affected Langston throughout his adult life. He is a former medical doctor and is desperate to repay the faith that Grissom has shown by hiring him in the first place.
