Noel Gallagher has jokingly threatened to sue Foo Fighters if they cover Oasis's single 'Lyla' at this weekend's Reading and Leeds festivals.
The US rockers are rumoured to be performing a their own version of the hit record at this weekend's festivals - after debuting it on Jo Whiley's BBC Radio One show earlier this week.
However, Noel is not amused by claims the band, fronted by ex-Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl, are planning to change some of the lyrics and has issued a gentle warning.
He told the station: "They'll be hearing from my lawyers if they change any lyrics."
The guitarist has heard the Foo Fighters version of 'Lyla' and admits he finds it bizarre.
He added: "I've heard it. It sounds like Motorhead doing Green Day on acid."
