Frankie to dump Nathan

'Coronation Street' mechanic Nathan Harding is to be dumped by girlfriend Frankie Baldwin after she comes back from holiday.

The hunky grease monkey, played by actor Ray Fearon, will be left devastated after the stunning divorcee, actress Debra Stephenson, decides to call time on their relationship.

Nathan will begin to suspect the blonde is losing interest in him while she is holidaying in her new villa in Spain, which she received as part of her divorce settlement.

Frankie calls home to speak to family and friends but only devotes two minutes of her time to her lover while he is working at Kevin's garage.

A show insider told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Nathan will be shattered by Frankie's sudden coolness towards him. But everybody else knows she's still in love with her ex-husband, Danny."

Frankie's decision to dump Nathan is the beginning of the end for both characters - as both stars are leaving.

The insider added: "Nathan will realise there's no future for him and Frankie and will decide to seek out a new life."
