Frankie Baldwin will never take back cheating hubby Danny, according the woman who plays the factory manager's beleaguered wife.
Debra Stephenson, whose character has had to put up with more than her fair share of heartache from Danny, feels that this time the love-rat has just gone too far and divorce is the only option.
Danny, played by Bradley Walsh, has stooped lower than ever and is having a tawdry affair with Leanne Battersby - his son Jamie's girlfriend.
And when Frankie finds out what her man is up to after being on the wrong end of a phonecall from him attempting to get Leanne into bed, devious Danny's deception becomes clear.
Devastated by her discovery, Frankie turns to Jamie's mother and Danny's first wife Carol, played by Lynne Pearson, who tells her in no uncertain terms that she has to leave the cheat for good.
The irony of that of course is that it was Frankie, while a babysitter for Carol and Danny, whose fresh-faced looks split the original Baldwin duo up in the first place.
But this seems to be lost on Frankie, who feels that this time there is no turning back.
"Danny's had affairs before but this is different, it is Leanne - who she hates," Debra told the Daily Star.
"The fact that he's hurt Jamie makes her doubly angry."
She added: "She loves Danny but she can't forgive him."
