Jennifer Lopez is obsessed with cookery shows.

The curvaceous Latin beauty admits she likes nothing more than falling asleep to somebody coking on screen.

J.Lo says she loves programmes about food so much she records hours of them so she has enough to see her through the night.

She told US talk show host Jay Leno: "I know that if I fall asleep to cooking shows that no gun shots are going to come on or anything like that.

"Sometimes when you leave the TV on at night, weird stuff comes on and you wake up with a jolt thinking: 'What's going on?'

"There's never going to be anything but cake and stuff on the food channel!"

Meanwhile, domesticated J.Lo wants to be the first female US president - so she can give the White House a makeover.

The sexy star, who recently admitted she loves doing housework because it helps her combat stress, said: "Being president would be cool. I'm a total powerhouse. The first thing I'd do is redecorate the White House - it doesn't look cosy."
