Former EastEnders actress Nicola Stapleton was arrested following a fight outside a nightclub.
The Sun reports that Stapleton had to be dragged off a group of girls when a street row broke out at 3.30am.
The actress, who is set to star in Hollyoaks Later, a spin-off of the Channel 4 teen soap drama, found fame playing Walford's controversial Mandy Salter beginning in 1992.
Her character tackled many hard hitting storylines including rape, prostitution and drugs before her departure in 1994.
The police arrested her and and Karen Singer - who claims she was slapped in the eye by Stapleton.
Two men were also involved in the brawl and were also detained by officers.
The fight happened outside the Wellington Club in Knightsbridge, central London.
The foursome were detained in Belgravia prison before being issued with £80 fixed penalty fines. A source told The Sun: "A group of girls recognised Nicola from EastEnders.
"They gave her a bit of a ribbing. Nicola flipped and started screaming she had been in other shows as well. She slapped Karen in the eye. It was vicious."
