Ewan McGregor adopts

Ewan McGregor has adopted a daughter.

The 'Star Wars' star met the four-year-old from Mongolia while on his round the world bike ride with best friend, Charlie Boorman.

McGregor already has two biological daughters, Esther, four, and one-year-old Clara with his wife of 11 years, Eve Mavrakis.

A spokesperson for the Scottish actor said: "I can confirm Ewan and Eve have adopted the girl but cannot comment further."

In 2004, McGregor and 'Emerald Forest' star Boorman spent three months riding their motorbikes around the world.

The journey was turned into a TV show and best selling book, 'Long Way Round'.
