In the grand scheme of things, Led Zeppelin haven't released that much material, adopting the less is more outlook. After wading through this essential two-disc set it's easy to see why anything else (aside from the reunion concert) would be second best.
Until this release all that fans had was the interesting but ultimately flawed and dated 'The Song Remains the Same'. This lavish box set presents 230 minutes of concert footage (that rarely repeats a song) and an hour and a half of rare extras.
Each member - Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and John Bonham - provides their own unique contribution to one of the most important heavy blues rock bands in history. This DVD contains four separate, and equally iconic, concerts spanning from 1970 until 1979.
