Elf is laugh out loud from start to finish with the traditional Christmas themes of family and belief thrown in for good measure. The film follows Will Ferrell, who has accidently been brought up by elves, back to his hometown of New York which is a million miles away from SantaÂ’s grotto. The film sees him cause havoc in his life as an elf and his life in the real world before finding his purpose and saving Christmas.
