Pop star Jessica Taylor and England cricketer Kevin Pietersen are expecting their first child. The former Liberty X singer is due to give birth in the summer of 2010.

A friend of the couple said: "They are both very excited about the news and have told their families and friends they don't want to know the baby's sex in advance.

"All is well and they are looking forward to next summer."
