Trafalgar Square saw the premiere of the eighth and final Harry Potter film last night.
After seven books and eight films the end is here.
Hundreds of fans camped out for the final instalment, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 hoping to get a glimpse of Harry, Ron and Hermione.
The road joining Trafalgar Square to Leicester Square was transformed into Diagon Alley – the famous street in the books.
The eighth chapter tells the story of the battle between Harry and Lord Voldemort and his quest to find and destroy the last remaining Horcruxes.
Daniel Radcliffe told the BBC that the end of the films is: “Like a girlfriend that you’ve been going out with for 10 years, and it ends and you’ve been left with these amazing memories.”
Earlier this week Emma Watson explained that she “cried and cried and cried” when she realised that the saga was coming to an end.
Harry Potter is the most successful movie franchise of all time making more than £4billion worldwide since the first release in 2001.
Over 400million copies of the Potter books have been sold since the first book was published in 1997, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
The film will be released in British and US cinemas on July 15.
