The 12th annual British Soap Award nominations are in, and it's a mixed bag of nominations with Emmerdale edging out the competition so far.
By default, each soap has garnered 15 cast nominations in the public-voted categories and each soap has a 'Best Soap' nomination.
However in the nine panel voted categories, Emmerdale has nominations in all categories, with Coronation Street and EastEnders on eight and Doctors on six while Hollyoaks is the dark horse with five.
The panel selected the nominees for Best Dramatic Performance, Best On-Screen Partnership, Best Storyline, Spectacular Scene and Best Single Episode and will decide on the winners of the Lifetime Achievement Award and Special Achievement Award.
Meanwhile, the public will vote on the six remaining categories, which include Best Soap, Sexiest Male, Sexiest Female, Villain of the Year, Best Actor and Best Actress.
The ceremony will take place on Saturday May 8 and will be aired on Wednesday May 19 on ITV1.
