Elton John's colourful language has landed him in trouble with the BBC.

The potty-mouthed singer said the 'F word' during an interview on Chris Moyles' Radio 1 Breakfast Show.

Elton is well known for his tantrums, but this latest outburst appears to have been an accident as he didn't realise he was live on air.

"I'm not live on air, am I?" he asked after telling Moyles - and his listeners - that the BBC had changed so much that he thought he was in "the wrong f******g place".

Last month, the veteran rocker unleashed a verbal tirade on a group of journalists in Taiwan, branding them "rude, vile pigs".
