'EastEnders' fans will see conniving Mike Swann dupe his daughter into stealing all her mother's inheritance money.

The rogue, played by actor Mark Wingett, talks Dawn Miller into getting her hands on the £5,000 by claiming he wants to invest it in a new life.

He tells his adoring daughter - who is played by 22-year-old Kara Tointon - he plans to use the money left to her mum Rosie to buy a family home in Spain.

Dawn agrees and plots to swindle her mother - who is portrayed by actress Gerry Cowper - out of the cash.

She eventually pretends to be her mother to get her hands on the money but, when she tells Mike what she has done, she is shocked to discover he only wanted it for himself.

A show insider is quoted in Britain's Daily Star newspaper as saying: "It will all end in tears for the Miller clan."
