'Lost' star Dominic Monaghan keeps pet cockroaches.

The actor, who plays drug addict rocker Charlie in the hit show, also has two chameleons and a praying mantis.

He revealed: "People express fear and disgust at the animals and then, as soon as they're in front of them, everybody's interested.

"There isn't one person I've brought back to my house who's said, 'I don't want to see them.'"

Meanwhile, Dominic has vowed never to be photographed with

girlfriend and co-star Evangeline Lilly again.

The actor, who plays drug addict rocker Charlie in the hit show, hated the attention caused by recent pictures of them together at an awards ceremony - and says they will now keep their distance from each other when cameras are around.

He revealed to Britain's New magazine: "She's a beautiful girl. But I'm never going to be photographed with her again."
