A new technology developed by Nikon makes it possible for owners to get a better insight of their pet’s day-to-day activities as well as thoughts and feelings.
The state-of-the-art camera, which is attached to the dog’s collar, takes picture each time the pet’s heartbeat goes up. It snaps images when the dog gets excited about smells, sounds, or sights.
A spokesperson for Nikon Asia said: "The video, filmed by our camera crew, features Grizzler the Border Collie wearing a Nikon camera attached to a harness.
"Each time Grizzler gets excited or happy, his heart rate increases and in turn triggers a mechanism to depress the camera's shutter and take a picture allowing us to see the world from Grizzler's perspective."
