Matt Pritchard from the hit MTV show 'Dirty Sanchez' is recovering after being stabbed in Norwich on Monday.

The anarchic star had reportedly intervened in an argument while shopping with his girlfriend, but the unidentified person then lashed out at him instead.

Police say a man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the attack.

Pritchard was repeatedly stabbed in the neck and throat at around 5pm. He is currently being treated at a hospital in Norwich.

His Facebook status says: “thank you for all your best wishes, and thank you to Norwich ambulance and the doctors and nurses of Norwich hospital for looking after me. Legends.”

Pritchard's Sanchez co-star Dainton told reporters: “He was trying to tell someone to chill out and leave and the next thing he was being stabbed in the throat and chest…

“It’s just some totally random guy kicking off in a shop. Pritchard has tried to diffuse the situation and he has got stabbed.”
