'Desperate Housewives' star Eva Longoria has been spotted canoodling with 'Star Wars' actor Hayden Christensen.

The beautiful brunette, who plays cheating Gabrielle Solis in the hit US show, was seen getting up close and personal with the handsome actor at the Cannes Film Festival.

The pair met at the 'Star Wars' film, 'Episode III: Revenge of the Sith' premiere party and according to onlookers couldn't take their eyes off each other all night.

One eye witness said: "They spent the whole night talking and caressing in a dark corner. They were trying to be discreet but other guests couldn't help noticing."

Later on, the two stars were seen holding hands before leaving separately, though at the same time.

The source added: "They left just after 3am. I'm pretty sure they hooked up."

Christensen is the latest in a long line of famous hunks to be linked with Eva, 30, in the last few months.

They include N'Sync singer JC Chasez, US basketball player Tony Parker and actors Butch Klein and Sean Faris.
