Dennis lights fuse to explosive Square exit

'EastEnders' fans will see Dennis Rickman floor gangster Johnny Allen in his final gripping scenes this week.

The Albert Square heartthrob, played by Nigel Harman, will dish out a beating to his rival after learning Johnny, played by Billy Murray, has threatened his pregnant wife Sharon.

Dennis - who is leaving the popular soap in the New Year - will injure Johnny so badly that the tough guy is left fighting for his life in hospital.

However, Johnny still finds the strength to order a revenge attack on Dennis which has fatal consequences.

A soap insider said: "It ends in tragedy for Dennis and Sharon."

Earlier this year, Harman announced he was quitting 'EastEnders' over fears he would become typecast as an actor.

The 32-year-old star will make his big-screen debut next year in new movie 'Bob's Not Gay' opposite actress Margo Stilley - who shot to fame after filming real sex scenes in controversial movie '9 Songs'.
